Recipe: Mason Jar Chia And Chocolate Protein Pudding (sugar-free)
Sugar-free | Vegan Option
Before making this, I wondered if making it in a cute mason jar would make it taste better. I'm pretty sure, yes! Cute things are better.
I didn't exactly measure everything out so these measurements are my best guess. I eye-balled everything.
Chia Pudding Ingredients:
4-5 TBSP chia seeds
1/2 cup of hazelnut (or other nut) milk
1 pinch of stevia
1/4 tsp vanilla
Directions:
I poured them all into the mason jar first and stirred then let the chia seeds gel and set for about 1/2 an hour. You can also refrigerate overnight or for several hours if you want it to be cold.
Chocolate Pudding Ingredients:
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup raisins
2 TBSP unsweetened whole whipping cream*
1 serving (2 scoops) pea protein powder
1/2 serving (2 TBSP) hemp protein powder
2 TBSP unsweetened Fair Trade cocoa powder
1/4 cup hazelnut (or other nut) milk
Directions:
Blend. I blended in a nutribullet blender.
Scoop out with spatula and add to the top of the gelled chia pudding.
Whipping Cream* Ingredients:
1/4-1/3 cup whole whipping cream
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 pinch stevia
Directions:
I put these all in a food processor and blended until whipped
Then I scooped it out with a spoon and topped with cacao nibs and dusted with cocoa powder
Enjoy!
*To make vegan, omit the whipping cream!
